A senior executive with an extensive background in electrical engineering, William Pino has led business operations at multiple companies in greater Miami, Florida. He is the founder and former president and chief executive officer of Florida Lighting & Traffic, Inc., Main Street Engineering, Inc., and Municipal Lighting Systems, Inc. After heading Municipal Lighting Systems for more than two decades, William Pino had built the outdoor lighting provider into the top company of its kind in South Florida.
Over the course of his career, he also served seven years as the chief executive officer of Miami’s MLS Group, Inc., the parent company of a number of business ventures in fields ranging from land development to manufacturing. Under his leadership, MLS grew to more than $45 million per year in gross revenue.
Mr. Pino got his start as a senior administrator in 1983, when he became the vice president of engineering at Columbia Engineering, Inc. In addition to overseeing general engineering operations for Columbia, he designed four large sugar mills in Mexico and the Dominican Republic.
